Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to orders from Dominator Sports Pty Ltd ABN 46 730 703 046. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions, which apply to every order.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If something arrives damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with your order number and photos or a short video showing the problem. The quickest way is our warranty request form.

We assess every claim from Melbourne. Where the goods are faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect, we will repair the goods, replace the part or product, or provide a refund, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

No restocking fee applies to faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, and we cover the cost of getting the right goods to you.

For goods damaged in transit, please also follow the steps in our shipping policy, including noting the damage at delivery and photographing the packaging before opening it. Failure to do so does not remove your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, but it helps us resolve the claim faster.

Change of mind

We do not offer an automatic right to return goods because you have changed your mind, ordered the wrong model or no longer need the product.

We may accept a change of mind return at our discretion where all of the following apply:

• you contact us within 14 days of delivery and we authorise the return in writing before you send anything back;
• the goods are unused, uninstalled and in original, undamaged packaging;
• the goods are in resalable condition; and
• you arrange, pay for and insure the freight to return the goods to our Melbourne warehouse, packed so they are protected in transit.

Where we accept a change of mind return:

• a restocking fee of 15% of the product price is deducted from your refund;
• the original outbound shipping cost is not refunded; and
• the refund is processed once we have received the goods and inspected them.

Every return is inspected on arrival. If the goods arrive back damaged, marked, used, installed or incomplete, or the packaging has not protected them in transit, no refund is payable and you may arrange collection of the goods at your cost. Where damage is minor and the goods are still saleable, we may offer a reduced refund reflecting the loss in value. Return freight is at your risk until we receive and accept the goods.

Cancelling an order

If you need to cancel, contact us straight away. Where your order has not yet been picked, packed or dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full.

Once an order has been dispatched it is treated as a change of mind return and the conditions above apply.

Warranty claims

Warranty claims are separate from returns. Every Dominator hoop and net carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for as long as you own it. Read the Dominator Australia Lifetime Warranty, and start a claim on our warranty request page.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method. We process refunds within 5 business days of approving them. Your bank or card provider may take longer to show the funds.
