QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY
Which net is right for me?
It comes down to how you use your court.
- Court shared with other sports: go rollaway. The ProMAX sits solid like a fixed net and rolls away on retractable wheels. The Pro Rollaway rolls on wheels.
- Driveways and occasional play: the Portable net is the lightest and easiest option.
- A dedicated pickleball court: in-ground posts that sit in sleeves set into the concrete, or surface mount posts that bolt to an existing slab.
Not sure? Send us your court details and we'll recommend the right net.
What height is a pickleball net?
Regulation height is 36 inches (914 mm) at the posts and 34 inches (864 mm) at the centre. Dominator nets are set up to regulation height, with a centre strap to set the height in the middle.
Can you make a smaller custom net for an undersized court?
No. Every Dominator net is built to regulation size, and we don't make custom widths or cut down frames.
If your court is smaller than regulation, a portable or rollaway net is usually still the answer. It sits on the surface, so the frame can overhang the sidelines, and it moves out of the way when you need the space. Send us your court dimensions and we'll tell you honestly what will fit and what won't.
Can I use it on a tennis or multi-sport court?
Yes. Our portable and rollaway nets suit tennis courts, multi-sport courts and driveways, and the rollaway nets move off court when you need the space for another sport.
How does the ProMAX stay put during play?
The ProMAX has retractable wheels. Retract them and the frame sits on the court so it plays like a fixed net. Drop them down when you want to roll it away.
In-ground or surface mount posts?
In-ground posts sit in sleeves that are set into concrete footings. The posts drop into the sleeves and lift straight back out, so the court clears in about a minute for netball, basketball or anything else. Sleeve caps keep the holes covered and clear of dirt while the posts are out.
Surface mount posts bolt down to an existing concrete slab, so there's no digging. They stay put unless you unbolt them.
Installation guides for both are on our product manuals page.
Do I need a footing?
Only for in-ground posts, where the sleeves are set into a concrete footing. Build that footing to our Australian engineered specifications, which you'll find on our product manuals page. Portable and rollaway nets need no footings at all.
How long does delivery take?
Every net is stocked in our Melbourne warehouse and shipped Australia wide. Orders are usually dispatched within 5 business days, or you can arrange to pick up from our Melbourne warehouse. See our shipping policy for details.
What does the warranty cover?
Every Dominator net has a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for as long as you own it. Normal wear, weather wear to finishes, accidental damage and misuse aren't covered. Read the full warranty.
Do you supply clubs, schools and councils?
Yes. We supply clubs, schools, councils and venues Australia wide, and we're the official net of Pickleball Australia. Get a quote for multiple nets or a full venue fit out.
